This is a very cool place to visit. Nice drive in through the Valley and what an impressive piece of engineering from the past. There seemed to be construction going on down the pathway so maybe this will enhance the visitors viewpoints.
Beautiful place to visit in Autumn time. We take all our visitors for a drive round Elan Valley.
Wet and windy but exhilarating. The views are wonderful and the sound of the water emptying over the dam is awesome. Lovely walk not too taxing, well maintained paths and clean facilities.
There's a small free carpark and public toilets available. The carpark is usually full so don't go expecting to always get a space easily. Absolutely amazing views and a great place to go for walks.
Went here with my son, we had a great time looking at the shear scale of the dams. Only one was overflowing and its so impressive. We loved it and will be back again.
This place is absolutely stunning! You can walk around both sides of the dam to enjoy the view. The road to go there is very scenic, and you can easily park.
Such a stunning place. There are walks on both sides of the river. Highly recommend.
It's great to see the dam overflowing. It's great to see where Birmingham gets it water from. Lots of little walks round here. There's not much parking up there either.
